Use the product descriptions to make estimations for each product: how much time and money do you need to buy, order, make or rent this product?
Ask advice and talk to experts if you’re not an expert on the subject yourself.

Delegate and/or outsource
Once you have defined the products and described their qualities, you can now ask someone else to be responsible for delivering one or more products. That way, you can divide tasks.

Make a Layered Timeline
For example: You need to have the score of a piece of music to be able to book a rehearsal space: once you have the score, you can estimate the rehearsal time needed and the size of the rehearsal space you need. Therefore, the product ‘rehearsal space’ is dependent on the product ‘score’.

Make a Budget
Once you have the score and have defined the needed rehearsal time and size of the rehearsal space, you can start estimating the costs of the product ‘rehearsal space’. You can use this estimation of costs when making your Budget. We will come back to how to make a Budget in the next Reader.
