Designing and realizing your artistic project in 5 chapters:
It all starts with an idea – but how do you turn that idea into reality? What will you encounter when designing, developing and realising your own project?
an
introductory course to project management compiled by Isa
Goldschmeding, Koninklijk Conservatorium/Royal Conservatoire The Hague, NL
This module consists of 5 readersand will prepare you to start your own projects.
You will be taught how to define the essence of your project and how to apply basic elements of project management. These basic elements are: → to identifyand express what is personal and/or unique about your project → to define what values you can create with your project → to think in products instead of actions → to monetise– what do these products cost? → to develop and test your ideas → to turn your ideas into a business → to communicate (about) your project
Each reader is accompanied by one or multiple exercises. If you have an idea for a project, you can use the exercises to develop this idea. If you do not have a concrete idea right now, you can use a hypothetical project or an existing project that you find inspiring to do the exercises, and this way practice different project management skills so you will be able to use them in the future.
